Well, the preview weekend is over and the open beta does not begin until September 7th. This gives me time to say little about Warhammer Online. I am excited by the impending release of Warhammer and I think will be the next best thing.

The creators of Warhammer Online, Mythic Entertainment, has really took everything they learned from DAoC and obviously others in the MMO genre and created a game with lots of appeal.

RvR is a registered trademark of Dark Age of Camelot and the theme is repeated in Warhammer Online. There are three races on each side of an opposing race each other side. There is a group of humans and to order the destruction of human beings, the High Elves fight against the Dark Elves and of course, the Dwarves came delete Greenskins (orcs and goblins). Although these starting zones are separate races rapidly expanded, it is easy to cross into other areas races and join the fight there. By game end, racial strife would not be evident for a large order Brawl vs. Destruction.

RvR is embedded in play and available early. The scenarios can be grouped together and are essentially forums for RvR and they vary by level and race to do not bore you with the same scenario several times. Disputed areas throughout the country and provide opportunities RvR quests too. These two are the same level limited level SO 40s can enter and take on the newbie zone.

The public research system is a good way to get better equipment since gaining influence is guaranteed to allow you a choice of two different pieces of armor and a potion. Once the search is complete, you can also go for the big booty and see if the dice for you. You can win your choice of where to loot the armor and weapons development to supply and money.

It is difficult to describe a complex game like Warhammer Online in 500 words or less, but I'm excited about the upcoming release and we urge everyone to get their copy today and get him set up and get ready for September 18. WAR is coming!

James Ostenson is an avid gamer and has played several online fantasy games starting with Ultima Online. Warhammer Online looks to be the next best thing in the MMORPG world. Check out his Squidoo page where he does a review of the Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning preview weekend.
